Elska #26 2019
Find more of Elska here. Elska Pittsburgh is our issue #26 and also our third edition made in the USA, following our series in Providence (Rhode Island) and Los Angeles (California). moreIf this isn’t a city you know much about, then you should. The queer scene of ‘Steel City’ is one of the most diverse and up-and-coming in the country. The city as well has been flourishing of late, filling disused warehouses and broken factories with artists’ studios, independent bars and restaurants, and revitalisation projects that so far have been keen to maintain the town’s true character. On the surface you might be reminded of a Shoreditch or a Brooklyn, but minus the hipster pretensions or snobbishness. Pittsburgh is truly welcoming, and it’s truly a revelation.
